Post-AI computation and other things I should write about soon.

AI, as it is commonly experienced, these LLM and image generators and computer visioning thing has already become basically a pricing market. So new features will come out and prices will drop.
Those features somehow will be merged into a larger emergent market where the margins are much higher because prices aren’t yet clear.
AI isn’t really about intelligence or understanding the world. AI is about degrees of freedom in an economic sense. It’s about liquidity. The more you can do with less resources the more you can run away with market behavior, intelligent or not. There is no intelligence direction for markets, just flows of energy/resource use and transactional velocity.
more soon on this topic. but maybe that’s all there is to say because i can just prompt GPT with this lovely starter and probably get a ton of interesting, liquidity inducing thoughts.
Other Things
- why ignorance is the main UI/UX interaction of the human being
- foraging is the behavioral framing for all we do, especially economically
- i should set up a respository of knowledge bases that are already AI useful
- every day on the calendar is now a holiday, so there will come a time when “this day is not a holiday” will become a declaration.
- images are still the highest ratio of input to output for mediation… human brains fire a lot with images and so little work is required of the image maker and image itself
- computation is about searching possibility spaces, not resolving the theory of everything or anything. search configurations of things.
- GPTs are how all software will work. it’s Tuplespaces writ large, the logical/computational end of social mediation, and how enterprise databases and point and click software all collapses into a basic “agent to do busy work until the market decides this busy work has no value”
- more later.
